About

Our Vision

Empowered to Transform Lives, Society and the World.

Our Mission

To promote personal intimacy with Christ in order to build godly communities that will impact the nations for Christ.

This comes from Matthew 28:18-19:

Go, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. I am with you always till the end of the ages.

Our Core Values

We strive to have every life at MHC be a testimony of the Lordship of Christ; a life defined by love, loyalty and enthusiasm to God [1 Thessalonians 2:10]

We are intentional about nurturing every Christian so as to bring them to maturity in Christ-likeness. [Matthew 28:19-20]

Real groups are our home-based fellowships that meet weekly for Prayers, Word and Fellowship. Through these fellowships we hope to see communities displaying the love of God and His people in their neighborhoods and communities.

We strive to reach those that the society considers least, last and lost with compassion just as our Lord and leader had compassion to those harassed and humiliated. This is the spirit by which we shall impact the nations for Christ. Compassion for the lost is what ‘drives us’ to the ends of the earth.

Following the model of Jesus Christ, who bore the cross to demonstrate his love, we endeavor to demonstrate our love for God and mankind at all costs. We shall sacrificially give of our time, talent, treasure to be used for God’s purposes.

Our Statement of Faith

There is One living and true God, eternally existing in three Persons. They are equal in every divine perfection and they execute distinct but harmonious offices in the work of creation, providence and redemption.

We believe that God the father is the source of All, the Sovereign over everything and the Supplier of all our needs.

We believe the Holy Spirit calls us to repentance, faith and obedience. That He reveals to us God’s will, word, and work and that He empowers us for holy living and effective service.

We believe that Jesus Christ, God’s Son is our Savior and Lord. Through His virgin birth, sinless life, and substitutionary atonement, Jesus has purchased our redemption, and thus He has procured for us forgiveness of sins, freedom from the power of sin, release from the punishment for sin as well as newness of life, abundant life, and eternal life.

The Bible, consisting of the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, alone is the Word of God, fully inspired and without error in the original manuscripts, written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and having supreme authority in all matters of faith and life.

The central purpose of God’s revelation in the Bible is to call all people into awareness of their sin, the availability of God’s marvelous grace, and the need for repentance and faith that results in complete forgiveness and fellowship with God. All people are sinners by nature and by choice and are, therefore, under the judgment of God. Those who call on the Lord Jesus Christ for forgiveness, believe in His resurrection and receive Him as their Savior are granted salvation, forgiveness of their sin and are regenerated by the Holy Spirit into a new life in Christ. This act of salvation is based solely on the grace and mercy of God, and is not the result of human deeds or goodness.

The Lord Jesus Christ will come again to earth, personally and visibly, to establish His kingdom and fulfill God’s eternal plan for creation. Death seals the eternal destiny of each person. For each person, there will be a resurrection of the body, the final judgment before God, the eternal bliss in heaven for those who are in Christ Jesus, and the endless suffering in hell for those who have not received salvation.

The Church consists of a living spiritual body of which Christ is the head and all regenerated persons are members, and exists as both a worldwide fellowship of the family of God as well as in specific local congregations consisting of a community of believers in Jesus Christ who are committed to obedience to Him. Believers in a local church are called by God to gather together to devote themselves to worship, prayer, the teaching of the Word of God, observance of baptism and communion as ordinances established by Jesus Christ, and to fellowship and to minister to one another through the development and use of talents and spiritual gifts. God has laid upon the members of the local church the primary task of proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world, beginning in their own communities and reaching cross-culturally to the ends of the earth.

We believe that the Holy Spirit of God indwells every believer and has given each a gift with which to edify the body of Christ.

The Lord Jesus Christ has instituted two ordinances for obedient observance by the local church: Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. We believe that Baptism unites us with Christ’s atoning work in His death, burial, and resurrection for the forgiveness of sins. These two ordinances are to be observed and administered by God’s family until the return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
